Our guide was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. There was a lot of driving involved, but the time passed quickly and usefully, hearing lots of information about the surroundings and Iceland in general. We probably could have done with a little longer at each stop, but I think that was mainly due to slower than normal travel in the snowy conditions.

Wonderful, talkative, friendly guide (John), who knows about everything. We had a lot of drawbacks (the weather was severe, our bus broke down, it was dark when we got to the geysers), but still, the whole tour was excellent, in a good atmosphere. We got a replacement bus very soon. The spots were stunning: a sleeping volcano, two waterfalls, a geyser field. In fact we should repeat this tour...

Despite a snowy day and treacherous road conditions, the tour was fun and informative. The only disadvantage of doing an afternoon tour during the winter is that you don't really have much time to stop and look around at each site, but you do get enough time to see the main attraction.Note: Geysir itself is no longer active, but its little brother next door, Strokkur, is still active.

This was a brilliant mini tour of some of the highlights of Icelandic scenery. We were worried that it would be cancelled due to bad weather but an enormous truck appeared that looked like it could weather anything. The tourguide was exceptionally knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the places we went and the history and culture of Iceland. The bus stopped for about 20 minutes at each stop. Ideally this could have been longer but it was enough time to take a few photos and enjoy the views. Because of delays from the bad weather, the guide changed the tour itinery so that we could see the geysir hot springs in the most daylight- a great decision as they were quite beautiful. We then caught the waterfall in the closing minutes of daylight. All in all I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see as much of Iceland as they can in a short space of time.
